Believe it or not, we found time to update parts of our website.
Something we have both meant to do for months but never got around to. So today, December 11, 2008, we are adding a few
new photo's. Click on a photo to make it larger!
Randy, originally from North Dakota, is one of seven children. His
siblings live in California, Missouri, North Dakota, Tennessee and Texas, while Mom lives in Oklahoma and Dad in
his native North Dakota. Randy is an alumni of the University of North Dakota at Grand Forks, and the University of Denver
from which he received an MBA.
Randy has his own company - 1280 Consulting - and works
for a number of blue chip companies including Oracle and Time Warner Cable.

Martin's family originates from Sheffield, UK. Brought up in Oxford
with his sister, he moved to London in 1997. Martin originally came to the US in 2002 to work on contract for a publishing
technology company in Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA. He returned to the UK in 2003, working for The Stationery Office (formerly
Her Majesty's Stationery Office) in Vauxhall, London.
In 2004, Martin returned to full-time education and received
a B.S. Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte graduating magna cum laude.
He majored in marketing and minored in history and political science.
In August 2007, Martin started a masters' degree program at the School of Information & LIbrary
Science (SILS) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. With one semester of study to complete, Martin
expects to graduate (again!) with an M.S. Information Science in May 2009. Then comes the fun part of finding a job and using
all his new found skills to good affect.

The two of us first met in 2002, living in Boston's historic South End district. With Randy's
job transfering from Stamford, CT we both moved south to Charlotte, NC in January 2005, and into our present home in
March 2005. (Click on the Charlotte link for photo's).
We share similar interests which include the theater, domestic and
overseas travel, wine - Randy knows far more about the science of wine making than Martin, who in turn knows far more
about the art of drinking than Randy!
Both of us like to cook for family and friends, though often it
is Martin cooking while Randy hovers around to steal tidbits when Martin's back is turned. Actually, Randy has taken to stealing
Martin's recipes and improving them along the way so that he is now the head chef and Martin is the tidbit thief!
We try to add pages of interest showing what we have been up to
